It was a fun day today at College. I did walk during the assessment but tired out about 2 minutes every time, I would need to wait and reset so I could go again; does anyone know how to walk for a longer time without having to stop?
I think this is the right College for me as it is for the disabled... I feel like I fit in with everyone and I don't think I will experience the hate I did at the last year of school. I wrote this to show people you can still do what you want-no matter the circumstances.
Thanks everyone for reading... I appreciate all the support from everyone.

Hi Illerpath, I am so pleased that you liked the college, having something to look forward to is always good. Walking can be very tiring, especially if you had to walk quickly. I find that using an exercise bike helps to strengthen my legs and I also try to use the stairs several times a day. Any exercise is good but don’t ask too much of yourself.
Too dizzy to walk w/o a walker and even that is pretty iffy. But I am determined to get off it. I think you can increase your walking by walking.... Anyway good luck in college and always xxx N
well done for keeping going. I use a lightweight walker that is suitable for indoor use . It cost about £40 from Coopers of Stortford and it folds up so I can put it in the car and use it on bus, train, tube etc. It is just a question of exercising and keeping going but this walker has allowed me to do everything. can walk indoors without support but too wobbly for outside with people pushing and shoving- the walker acts as a warning to other people to keep clear. happy christmas and concentrate on what you can do and keep exercising. all the best Sylviax
Thanks for the info ! i definitely try do some more exercise... I haven t done some in a while so it could help and that's good that you can indoors... believe in yourself and I wish you the best!
