Hi. My son is 25 and has congenital Ataxia. Can anyone recommend a good dating site for people with special needs and disability. Thank you. ☺

Hi ya

After retiring I worked part on a "bank" for Royal Mencap supporting people with various disability. I stopped 4 years ago as CA was a problem - I do still help running social club which is one of many activities they organise - worth approaching your local branch.

Hi, We have no feedback on the quality of this site, but it looks like it might be worth exploring. outsiders.org.uk/outsidersc....

If your son would be interested in meeting other people with ataxia,we have an active group of young adults aged 16 - 30 who have helped us to develop this website ataxia16to30.org.uk/. They also have a closed Facebook site which he can access by contacting Stephanie Marley at Ataxia UK office (smarley@ataxia.org.uk). In addition we have a closed Facebook page for parents which you can also access by writing to Stephanie.

We are intending holding an away weekend for young adults and their parents in July. This will be announced directly to people who belong to Ataxia UK and also advertised on our websites.

Regards Sue
