My hands have started shaking for no reason
I think it is normal, but I don't understand it either. But you are not alone. It is hard to understand something that makes no sense. I am trying to put a group of people that suffer with this together. Let me know if you are interested.
Yes I am interested Denise. Just let me know if I can do everything to help
Well I am not sure where abouts you live, but I have been talking to NormanE who it turns out lives quite close to me. I am hoping to meet up with him soon. I just think it helps just talking to people that understand what you are going through. I still have to admit as much as I understand it myself!
Hi I have had a similar tremor in just my left arm since my stroke. I find it helps if I exercise my arm regularly just by moving it up and down. All the beat
I'd ask your neurologist about this, if you have one, especially if it's a new symptom...
I don't know where you live but I live helensbrugh in Scotland 🙂
Hi Anne
This could be related to cerebellar ataxia but it is important that we don't assume that any new symptom is related to existing conditions. As mentioned above please speak to your GP/neurologist about this as it is important to find out the underlying cause and also to discuss any treatments.
I see you live in Helensburgh. I used to live in Glasgow but have now moved to Lancashire. There is a Branch of Ataxia UK for the West of Scotland which meets regularly. Contact the helpline at Ataxia UK for further details (0845 644 0606 or helpline@ataxia.org.uk)
