My hands have started shaking for no reason

I have got cerebellar ataxia and cerebral palsy. My hands have started shaking, it starts off been warm, and then it is like I have pins and needles, in them and then it's like the muscle starts shaking for no reason it's quite weird is this normal?

I think it is normal, but I don't understand it either. But you are not alone. It is hard to understand something that makes no sense. I am trying to put a group of people that suffer with this together. Let me know if you are interested.

Well I am not sure where abouts you live, but I have been talking to NormanE who it turns out lives quite close to me. I am hoping to meet up with him soon. I just think it helps just talking to people that understand what you are going through. I still have to admit as much as I understand it myself!

I'd ask your neurologist about this, if you have one, especially if it's a new symptom...

This could be related to cerebellar ataxia but it is important that we don't assume that any new symptom is related to existing conditions. As mentioned above please speak to your GP/neurologist about this as it is important to find out the underlying cause and also to discuss any treatments.
