last time I saw the neuro bod he said I had hydrocephalus and might benefit from having a shunt to drain off the CSF - he diagnosed me with cerebellar ataxia 1 year ago . apparently too much CSF ( cerebro-spinal fluid) can cause problems that I have with balance, walking, bladder problems. I have been told I am a bad candidate for a general anaesthetic- has anyone else had experience of this ??would be great to hear your viewsxx

Ataxia started within 48 hours of Profanol for a colonoscopy. Have not walked since except one time for no apparent reason I walked suddenly for about 1/2 a day and gem it went away. Lots iof pain meds for pain in legs for a primary progressive MS and lots of MRIs using contrast mediums. No ataxia in my family tree.
