I would like to share our story with you.My husband who is 88 went to our local market 3 weeks ago before self isolating was recommended. He felt unwell 4days later, most unusual for him.We are convinced he has had COVID19.The continuous coughing was extremely debilitating and for someone who is usually cold the fever was unusual.I found it very frightening and even worried about his mortality. His advice to everyone is avoid this cruel virus it is not worth risking your life He was very disappointed he contracted the disease but as a non smoker all his life and with no respiratory problems we are so pleased that we have managed to get through it.During 60 years of marriage he has never felt so ill.
SO BEWARE !KEEP WELL.

Thank you for sharing your story. I am sorry to read your husband was so poorly. I am sure it was absolutely horrible for you both. The most important thing though is he got through it. With all the negative media stories that is definitely something to be celebrated.
Thank you Harriet for a prompt reply and your good wishes ,we feel as though we know you having attended many conferences over the years .Kind regards.
Sorry to hear about your husband, but glad he’s got through it now..... I’m 76 and haven’t been out for about a month, being disabled.... its easier for my wife to do the shopping on her own..... if you have to go out, take care and stay safe! 😀
Thank you Don I hadn’t been out for 6 weeks ,my choice ,too wet and too cold in the wheel chair- -now because of our age we shall be self isolating for 12 weeks !*!We miss the family so much ,we are very lucky they came every week including the 2 great grandchildren at 3 years and the baby now 9 months kept us ‘young’.Take care.
Yes my lovely, we miss the Grandchildren weekly visit, cant you connect to them via Skype..... I chat to my brother who lives in Tasmania who is 92 tomorrow, on Skype!
