I'm afraid that age Age does matter, Jurgen. And why not?? I think the idea is to age gracefully or as gracefully as you/anyone can. Work, laughter and exercise seem to be helpful. (Good luck and good genes dont hurt...)

Today I met a woman, in her eighties, who works out and works (as a psychologist.) She had no wrinkles, was quite thin and laughed alot. I once met a man who retired at 98; he was 102 (when I met him) and laughed alot. He told me that he had stroke or heart attack at age 65, "and here I am," he said (laughing.)

Dear Jurgen, I'm 61 year young...,ha! I relish each year, as what's the alternative...,ha! I liked your stories about theose amazing people, Neta! Also, I've come to the realization that ones age doesn't really matter, as it's more important to keep a positive attitude! ;o)

I wish I was as positive as you, "february" but I am not. Must be genetic. You had good parents. Relish is a good word. N

Dear Neta, Yes, that's me...,the eternal optomist...,ha! Being positive can be good, but sometimes it's not! Maybe it is genetic, as my mom is an optmist, but my dad, not so much! She looks at life as the glass is 1/2 full, he, the glass is 1/2 empty...,ha! Hugs, February ;o)

Hard to be positive when all seems to be crashing around. Hard to be happy in light of disaster. Maybe negativity is more realistic?
