I found a nice way to help with my exercises. I play one of my favourite songs by the Commitments:
"Mustang Sally"
I can`t move as fast as I used to, but it sure gets the blood flowing

Is that the PCH John? Yes, Mustang Sally that would get me moving as well!
Anything good and lively with a strong beat. xB
er, PCH?
Pacific Coast Highway. My mind started wandering, we travelled it years ago. You would have
loved the scenery. xB
wobblybee, look at the picture for fifteen seconsd, close your eyes and you can be driving along that road now...........................................
Yes, it works, it takes me back! xB
I`ve got a collage of mixed photo`s of my time spent in the Navy on my bedroom wall, took me ages to get it right using my PC and Photoshop, but that was a long time ago. I just have to spend time staring att that, then close my eyes and I`m right back on board with my mates. Funnily enough all the sounds are there, even the smels and the noise of the aircraft. Weird huh?
Still, it works for me......
D'you know if I smell Ponds Cold Cream, it takes me back to the mid 1950s, actually to a room I was in with my Grandmother. So you don't surprise me having that experience, great isn't it! xB
Chips does it for me also, takes me back to the sea-side (cullercoats) as a kid with my brothers, I was only 4-5 years old, I loved the sea-side chips. Sitting on the sands with my mam and brothers............loved it
I always loved the sea, used to cycle down to the coast every weekend in all weather, used to get soaking wet through some weekends and a telling off from mam, ha, ha.
Kids would not dare do anything like that now, too many nutters around.
I remember people sitting on the sands with hankies on their heads to keep the sun off, and chips were always nicer at the coast. I was envious of people having holidays there when it was 'Scottish Fortnight'. xB
Doing my morning exercises in my wheelchair and one of the bands came away - I had not attached it properyl. Well, it fleww across the room hit the table where my tablets are, they scattereded in all directions, boxes and plastic bottles bouncing off walls and the window and the floor, I tell you now it was like some thing from Laurel and Hardy, I just couldn`t stpo laughnig.....................
What a way to start a day...........
Good morning Monday
I wish I'd been a fly on the wall John! I'm reminded of a pill related incident
my father in law had. He'd put a pill in his hearing aid instead of a battery!
What else came to mind, that scene in one of the carry on films where Barbara
Windsor stuck her chest out! xB
