have asked gp but said a private script would be £80.00 a month!!,usa and europe approved it,why cant we get it in uk yet,thankyou for any help

I haven't heard of this drug at all ridingscarlet, so am away to Google for information :)

I asked about it, but you can't take it if you are taking theophyline (uniphyllin)

NHS would not allow it to be prescribed a couple of years ago, I remember that much. Needed more tests they reckoned, to justify the cost.

Daxas (Roflumilast) can now only be prescribed if it is part of a trial, the following link to NICE (National Institue for Clinical Excellence) gives more information:
