Brilliant! What great news. Our stocks were so low we were really worried. (We normally keep a well stocked larder, fridge and freezer) then like you we got a delivery slot.

It was as good as winning the lottery.

Enjoy your shopping xxxx

That’s great news Katie, I’m so pleased for you. Xxx πŸ‘πŸ˜˜

Me too, katie, just had my first delivery. So exciting, now you can buy just what you want. Unlike you I have plenty of support from family & also young, fit friends & neighbours, but I really hate relying on other people.

Yes Hanne62, it was nice to order what I normally have including the odd treat. Its quite amazing the small things that please when you cant get out & about. Plus I was worried because after my op I will still need this service, its not just a one off. Enjoy your delivery.

Me too ! Delivery later today with Tesco, who have now informed me have priority. Still not a peep out of Asda with whom I have been online shopping for about 3 years....actually that's not strictly true they are still sending me emails with offers and recipes and urging me to donate to food bank. So have decided to donate all I've had from them, and food bank getting 100% of my fresh air. 😁

I am a regular customer of about four years with tesco home delivery. Having a lot of trouble getting a slot, have just got one for the 12th May! HOw did you get priority? Would be so grateful for any advice. Love Iris x

Hello, I am a sheilded person and have been getting a government parcel so I mentioned to the contact that I had difficulty with Sainsburys and since then a priority slot has come up. Its taken five weeks to sort out. These are two numbers to contact Sainsburys if having problems 0800636262 or08009178557 Good luck xx

So pleased for you Katie, it's such a relief when you get one isn't it.

Congratulations on getting a Sainsburys delivery. I’m getting deliverys from them too, number 4 expected on Saturday. My only wish is that you could book the same slot every week for several weeks. I’m told that you can with Asda, and this would take the stress out of keep logging in to book your next delivery.

Yes I have a weekly slot with Asda right up until the 4th October which is very reassuring for me. I was so hoping I would get an Asda slot as I still get my staff discount with them having worked there for 13 years so a bonus for me all round. It all helps.

Just a quick update, I had a survey this morning from Independant Age to ask for my comments on food access during the current virus crisis, as a dutiful older persons rep I of course filled it in from my experience . :) :)
