Daxas

Dear all, I just wanted to let all of you with severe COPD that I was given the opportunity last year, March 2022 to start this medication, Roflimilast. I had to request the outpatient appointment to be able to bring the possibility of being prescribed it. HealthUnlocked It wasn’t even mentioned to me

AND: Daxas - Has anyone got experience of this tablet? My Consultant said there are side effects and one of them is weight loss and I am too thin already. Can anyone throw any light on these two medications please?

have asked gp but said a private script would be £80.00 a month!!,usa and europe approved it,why cant we get it in uk yet,thankyou for any help

There was quite a thread relating to Daxas. Dad got Daxas from the internet (as quite a few people were doing). The company has since stopped supplying it without a prescription.

Some friends of mine in the USA with COPD use a drug called daliresp - (roflumilast) they reckon its the best thing ever as it decreases the number of exacerbations making them feel better. The only problem is the side effects are, in my opinion, really bad. Has anyone else heard of this ? Would
