The lady reading the BBC weather forecast for local weather here (North West) is called Sara Blizzard. How apt is that today? It is a very strong biting wind. it was my first time out for 3months and got taxi door to door but muffled up in warm coat and thick woolen scarf, feel much better for making the effort. Was feeling like a caged tiger trapped in my own home. Breathing bit easier today but waiting for appointment for next spirometry test.

hi teabag, i,m so glad you feeling better i,m snowed in so it,s a good job i have no appointments til after Easter! cant wait for it to warm up a bit i want to sit out & breathe fresh air

You poor thing. We only had an inch where I live and it was gone the next day. Surely it won't be long before the weather improves. Fingers crossed, eh?

Hello Sheila. Good to know there is another Northener on here although everyone seems so lovely and friendly no matter where they are from. I only joined this site a couple of weeks ago but already feel at home.

Hi Marina, Yes they are a great crowd. I don`t message often myself but I read all the messages every day and the help and advice to one person is often help to lots of us. And if you`re ever really low they`re so ready to show their support, I do know that from personal experience.Keep well !
