I had a bout of Flu which has left me with a dry cough, spiking tempretures, sweats, chest pain, breathlessness and fatigue.

The Flu started about the 14/2/13. I have had 2 courses of anibiotics for a chest infection. My GP sent me to the hospital to be checked for PE and various blood tests but they found nothing. I am still unwell and have been unable to work.

Can anyone help?

Have they done an x-ray? You need to pursue with your GP. If you know all's not well then lsiten to your body & ask for second opinion.

Yes I've had 2 chest x-rays. the first showed infection the second did not. But thank you. I suppose I will have to go back to my GP.

You definitely should go back to your GP. Remember you are doing him a favour. Without you, he would be out of work.

I wouldn't be here today if I'd listened to my GP, who missed pneumonia & multiple bilateral PEs. A & E spotted what GP missed. If you're worried try another GP. Best of luck.

Many thanks for your help. I will try another GP at the practice.

Go to GP. Take hammer. Beat him into submission. If you are short, take ladder.
