My one of my sons who use to look after a home for disable adults .but now disable him
self has had a look at the medical questions .you have and he recons when you answers them remember what you have said from the first question to the last question as he reckons
That some of them are the same but worded different so he reckons .
Yep - they do it to try and trip you up, so what you said in answer to question 3 might be different to how you describe the same problem in questions 17c and 46a, then they check if you still have the same condition by the time you reach question 82b !
That's why a lot of advice is to get professional help, like the CAB or Age UK, to help fill the forms in. They know about the trickery in all the forms and can help people to fill them in correctly. They also check that you've covered everything, and I mean everything. If you don't tell the decision maker about something then they don't know, and can't give you credit for difficulties you may face, but don't write down.
When I applied for DLA I downloaded the electronic (PDF) form and used that. I was then able to fill it in, then go over it again and again to make sure I'd not missed anything or described something differently.
They reckon that by the time you've applied 6-7 times you get to know what to look out for, by which time they've changed the form
