wet room and access

hi has any one had a lift fitted for access to bedroom ot comeing today with another quote

that is some one to quote for stair lift the other company says I cant have due to saftey

A friend of mine had a lift put in by his housing trust when he became a fulltime wheelchair user after a motorcycle crash. The trust got a grant and took the stairs out putting a lift in that would get him and the wheelchair up to his sleeping area and wetroom.

Unsure if this will help only best I know about without personal experience of doing this.

I don't have one buny but I have a couple of friends who do, it seems a bit strange that a company said they cant due to safety but I am no expert

Hi Buny, I have a stairlift, after trying around 5 companies for new and reconditioned I finally settled on Age UK. I have had my stairlift for 20 months and I am delighted. They gave me the lowest quote and they were very helpful both before and after sale. Give them a call. Good Luck Maximonkey

thanks to you all it seem my stairs are wrong but will have to wate for another quote also for apanel to approve or not the money
