I have Bullious Emphasema.

Had it since Dec 2009 but was diagnosed in March 2011 had the breathing test in July this year.

Not had a cig since early 2010 and will never go back to them.

Joined this group in July this year so please ask any question you like.

could you pls explain what it is haven't seen consultant yet an gp is useless. thks.

I have a giant bullae in my right lung and some smaller ones on my left lung which the surgion is not too worried about at the moment, I am going into hospital next week to have the bullae closed up and the top bit of my lung stapled up, tons of tests to get this far and hopefully it will make a difference in the longer term.

Hope everything goes well for you as I'm sure it will.

2011 I had a chest Xray and CT scan showed up a lot of boullis in my right lung and some in my left, breathing test sowed I was 79% doc put this as very mild.

Again hope all goes well.

I have been diagnosed with severe bilious emphysema and also I haver bladder cancer.So I had a petsscan with 2 spots found in my lungs.So I am in a trap.No anesthesia as I won't come out of it.Though I have been in rehab and on oxygen therapy and if my cancer gets worse pray I can survive a surgery.I knew it was coming but I thought it was old age
