Here's herself ....she's getting bigger by the minute this one ... Is learning very quickly to commands sit stay down spin ...she's had a few hiccups but that's ok...she's learning very quickly that silence when she's biting ankles gets her nothing πππand she can nip little bugger ...another puppy phase ...She started on group walks a few weeks back where we carried her on our back in a framed dog bag ... she got used to sounds of the forest and the other dogs being around us...
She was set free for her first walk with the group on Friday this week gone... She has 15 mins twice a day ...
She's settled in great had a few telling offs when she's overstepped her boundaries with the other dogs but that's good teaching among animals...
She is off lead and her recall is superb even when she's busy she comes back straight away ...onwards and upwards little one ...
Sadie Sunshine certainly is a very pretty little dog and itβs good to hear that sheβs a quick learner and already mixing with the pack .. thanks to her excellent trainer!! π€
Ahh thankyou that's kind she's just a bright little girl who listens and hopefully will continue to do so ... I have been offered pup classes at the vets but said no .. I understand some people use and the reasons...but if you buy rescue a pup dog you need to put the work in ..and at Β£40 per hour ... I said no thankyou πππ
Sheβs beautiful , sounds like sheβs a very clever puppy. Their puppy teeth are so sharp , I remember that stage so well . Hope she brings you lots of sunshine in the months and years ahead . Our furry family members are so special and give us so much love and company
Sometimes I prefer her asleep π΄ πππ ...only joking she is great ... goes to bed around 8 pm till 6am ...had 2 little accidents but that's brilliant... She's going to be a bright dog who needs the work and jobs to do π₯°
thankyou for your kind comment ....The pain on bear skin is not to be spoken about..my husband was saying ouch and jumping around he was making himself a moving target for her...
Solution..stop walking say nothing ..carry a toy direct her attention to it and throw in opposite direction she will soon get bored and learn silence gets her nothing ...
But it's amusing to watch my 6,ft 2 husband dance again ππππ
Thankyou she's a little dream and I hope it continues with her ...she's a rescue pup ... mum was pregnant when they brought her back from Greece and they hadn't realised...so Sadies one of 6 all girls...π₯°π₯°
you already know her well . and you should continue your training as you are probably much better than the vet.. Β£40 per hour ! being with the other dogs is good too, when they are well behaved >
She looks beautiful and is clearly as bright as a button. We always say the bitey stage is the worse bit of having a puppy. Thankfully our last one is a people pleaser and decided very quickly that he was ignored if he launched and put teeth on skin. Hooray. It didnβt last too long! Good luck, but once through it you will have the most lovely dog. My number one thing with a pup is a good recall so when out they will come back to the whistle straight away, sounds like your girlie is completely trained on that one. Enjoy your puppy as she sounds amazing. x
Oh my what a beauty and I imagine alot of fun once she is past the nipping stage. I can just imagine your hubby dancing a painful dance after suffering those baby teeth ooouch x
It's his own fault if you stop and stay silent when she's nipping she stops βοΈ He makes himself a target for her so he needs to learn he's actually following my instructions the last few days so it's working πͺ π₯°π₯°
Sheβs beautiful Bb π I wish my adult dogs were as well trained as she is ! Tbf in their case itβs a combination of a stubborn breed and a useless trainer π xx
I'm not really sure on her size yet ... she's a sprollie so springer Spaniel and collie mix ...It depends who she takes after more I guess ... cause she's a rescue I'm in touch with all the other owners on a watts app chat stream..
mum had 6 pups in total they post pics daily and they are all so different looking ... Sadie seems to be the smallest in size and weight but she's streets ahead with her commands and training... some of the others are still up in the night for the loo ...
Sadie goes to bed at 8 pm until 5.30 am without a murmur... she's had 3 accidents in the house the others are using training pads ... I hate those things it's like your giving permission for the dog to pee and poo inside ...
It's going to be a few months before she stops growing so I'm guessing about 46 inches high ..but she's got springer ears and face with collie legs at the moment πππ
She's a beauty! I've never used the training pads either. I think it gives the dog a mixed message - kind of like giving him a shoe to play with! I had a rough coated collie, blue merle, and he was the sweetest pooch ever and easy to train. I'm looking forward to more pix of Sadie as she grows up and wish you the best of luck with her! She's a lucky lass.
