Now doesnβt he look the bees knees! Lovely boy. I did laugh at him going into the river for a swim after grooming. Just what Iβd expect Stan to do. β€οΈπβ€οΈπ
He really is a handsome boy, you've just got to love him. Have a good night and take care π Bernadette and Jack π xxxxxx π»π»
Go Stan! Way to self groom after all that pampering and smelly lotions.
Exactly roll in fox poo π© sorts that out π
Oh isnβt that the absolute worse! Nothing like having to wash dog in tomato juice first before shampooing. Especially when late for work in the morning π€¦ββοΈ. I DO miss my boy though, even though itβs now many years since I lost him. Nothing will replace that bit of my heart. π’
Heat? π€£He looks completely different, must be a lot easier to clean & dry him when you get home ΓΓ
Ah they are washed and dried after walk I have a washer in the van filled daily with warm water and doggo shampoo π 22 here today very warm π and a short clip makes our life so much easier x
Crumbs it's freezing not far north of you, 13Β° most of the day & reached the giddy height of 16Β° by 5pm.Ah yes, I recall now you told me about the warm doggy wash before. My daughter has something similar for her two . I think I'll invest in one when I move ΓΓ
Shorts and vest top today.. yes the washers are great mines plugs into the cigarette lighter bit and runs of that otherwise its pump and spray...Where are you moving π
Across country to Ely - hopefully. I'm a townee & love my house & Cheltenham where I live now however, I need to be near my older sister in Suffolk who had a massive stroke last September and my youngest & her little family are just 5 miles east of Ely. I think my daughter fills her tank with very hot water from the tap, by the end of their walks it's still warm so the warm water is pumped through the shower head.
He looks so handsome π. So funny how they feel the need to get muddy straight after a groom π
Oh Stanley! We love π you! Groomed and muddy πππ
I never knew that about tomato sauce! You learn something new everyday donβt you!
Well, what a smart fellow he looks nowπ (although the fuzzy version is adorable tooπ) Glad he popped in the river to get all that fancy pong off himself - I must remember that trick next time I have a haircutπ
Aww thankyou his Fuzzy version makes his coat all horrible to dry and it stays damp for a long time as he's curly ... I have him clipped every 5 weeks to give him freedom from the longer hair ... in this heat its so much better for him and me .. he seems more energetic when kept short ... and as he swims daily its best .. π₯°
"Mr Wonderful Himself" - I feel a song coming on! If I knew more about Stan I might try to write a song in praise of him, using that title!
He's a 14 year old cocker spaniel who makes my world spin... he's adored loves to chase and hunt birds swims daily rolls in sh#t ...Steals food when he can including blueberry muffins x 3 π
A good start, something for me to work on. I need a little more... His daily walks with dogs, his relationship and behaviour with ponies, any tricks, favored biscuits, anything that singles him out or stamps his character. PM if you like.If you are musical then these are the closing chords on "Mr Wonderful, Himself." Bbm9, Eb7, and Ab.
There you go. I've already got the end!
He dosent touch or go near any livestock...He has a group walk daily with 5 other dogs for an hour or more ...on my busy days he has another walker comes to take him in the afternoon...
He dosent get biscuits he's on a raw meat diet with raw vegetables loves fish ...
Loves a cuddle ...he's got a girlfriend called Bella she's a beagle and the two of them together are double trouble
We have had him only 2 years we got him from a lady who was a friend of a friend but he wasn't treated right but that's the past and this is his now ... he loves his beds drags them round the house...
Everyone knows him and waves when they see him
Well Mmmmmm, if he steals Blueberry Muffins I might just have to put on hold my plans to steal him, no one gets my blueberry muffinsππ
He only ever done it the once and they were mine πππ
Handsome Stan. Nothing like a bathe in the river to get rid of those loose hairs. π
He looks wonderful! Treasure him.
Very sorry to report that I lost my lovely Suzy in a traffic accident mid-May. Gardeners, usually so reliable at closing garden gate, had left it open, and of course my adventurous dog couldn't pass up the chance of a run over the main road. Died in my arms on way to vet. Miss her hugely.
π₯
Oh my I'm so very sorry to hear that ... you must be devastated π
Thanks so much, Blackbird9. I am. Really kind. Sorry, didnβt mean to hijack your photo and post about lovely Stan. What a great character he is!
Oh my god bronwen, I am so sorry to hear that! That must have been terrible to have to deal with. Take some small crumb of comfort that you were able to hold suzy in your arms and tell her how much you loved her.
Very handsome Stan. Itβs so lovely how much he is loved π₯°
Ah, Sir Stan in all his beauty! Really? Took to the river 3 hours later!?! That's your boy!π
D'ya know, when I saw the headline pop up in my emails, I just KNEW it was going to be your little doggie! I was thinking that he doesn't know how lucky he is to be loved so much but then I thought, maybe it's you who are the lucky ones to have him come into your life? Either way, it's a wonderful win-win! Long may he continue to confound you!
He really is a cracker xxx
Look at him! Stan is such a clean good boy. Unlike yucky Chom. xx ππππ
