Onwards and upwards

Hi everyone...just wanted to let you all know what's happening with me. Had finished all the antibiotics and steroids on Wednesday ( thank goodness) ... wasn't convinced that l was properly cleared....soooo tried for appointment with doc. Turns out I still have some infection,so on Doxycycline for 7 days. Am hoping this will clear everything up. Fingers crossed 🤞

doxycycline is a better antibiotic and will treat the infection I have just finished but carrying on with steroids still have breathlessness on exertion but at least feeling a bit better. Hopefully you’ll get this dealt with

Some of these bugs take months to shift, it can be so frustrating as all these antibiotics side effects just make us all feel so grim!Hopefully you are on the right track to good health.

Hi Primrose123 ... lovely to hear from you! It's so kind of you to think of me. Overall I have been doing much better,although all the antibiotics have messed up the digestive system!!!!Fix one problem and create another!!! Still breathless with just a little exertion and I have to say I find that really frustrating. I always enjoyed housework and tidying up outside and now it's very much stop/start and when I feel up to it!! I have a review on Friday afternoon and I will go armed with notebook and pen ...lots of questions for the consultant and I refuse to let it be a tick box exercise. I'll let you know how it goes. How are you keeping yourself? The weather is so changeable I think we need to be super careful. Stay safe and well xx
