I have been on dupilmab for 18 months. I have not had steroids for 18 months and administer it myself. I have eosinophilic asthma.I had to go back to the asthma unit for a review. My spirometry was much better than last time but my FeNo remained high. Bloods done as well.
I had a phone call a few days ago - consultant wants me to have a chest x ray - my eosinophils were high as was my FeNo. I have had a cough for over 12 months that I put down to the dupilimab not being as effective as prednisone. I told the nurse about the cough.
I last had a chest x ray about 18 months ago - I am able to view the results online but I never checked until last night - the results mentioned possible scarring on lower lung.
To be honest this had made me a bit apprehensive.

Hi. I have no experience of your condition so cannot personally help you with your request. Do try using the search box to find previous posts about your situation. You could also contact the ALUK nurse for advice:
"Call or WhatsApp our Helpline for support with your condition. Get advice on your medicines, symptoms or travelling with a lung condition, or just call us to say hello. Call us. 0300 222 5800. Email us. helpline@asthmaandlung.org.uk. WhatsApp helpline (asthma) 07999 377 775"
Lung scarring is fairly common, any lung infection can cause it. I have a fair bit of scarring caused by possible TB, confirmed pneumonia etc. my consultant is not worried about my scarring, at least they are keeping an eye on you
