yes, blood pressure can drop a bit when infection/ recovery is happening.

Have you got a temperature and any other symptoms ….shivering for example .

If low blood pressure is unusual for you , maybe ring 111 for advice .

Please record your blood pressure and heart rate for your physician to evaluate. Did you give a sputum sample before starting your antibiotics? Infection can affect your vital signs. The sputum culture will show if your antibiotic is effective against the bacteria causing the infection. Take care.

I get low blood pressure- sometimes very low - certain medications can cause this and ter reasons also.

If it's not to low try drinking water - fluids can help to raise BP - If this keep happening or you feel dizzy then ring your GP also with the numbers - eg 85/50 would be low.

Most times it'sa medicine or no specific reason but if it keep happening, phone your GP - I did.

My blood pressure was always quite low until I went through the menopause from about 40. Just led to a bit of dizziness in the bath.

Hope you're feeling better now and your GP was helpful
