Hello, Its me again! I have started my list of questions for the consultant when he FINALLY phones me on Friday... only waited over a year.
I have been feeling REALLY bad these past 2 weeks, can hardly stand up without the help of my husband. I asked him to take my blood pressure, it was 90 / 45 which I believe is too low? Should I wait for the phone call, or TRY to speak to a Dr at the surgery? I am at my wits end.

Phone your GP and ask to speak to him. You need a blood pressure check to compare to yours. It is low.
Good luck to you xxxx
I would phone your GP Woofly, but until you speak with the doctor, keep taking your blood pressure 3 times daily, same times, resting in correct position as directed using the instruction that came with your BP monitor. One reading won't be much to go on, but regularly taken over 5 days gives a good indication where your BP is at.
Take good care and I hope you will be feeling much better real soon.
Hi Woolfy, I feel you should phone your GP. I have low blood pressure which drops dramatically from sitting to standing and often feel I am going to pass out. I have been seen by the Falls Clinic. I have postural hypotension. If you can manage it, it might be an idea to take you BP whilst sitting, followed by a reading whilst standing, but please make the phone call.
