Blood pressure...

. Went to the Dr's came out with blood pressure meds... I was 190/75 ... Some times my bloodpressure is almost normal I feel this COPD medication is causing my heart rate to go up.... I don't know if I'm wright or not ... Just another pill to add to the basket...... Took this shot in Lunenburg Tall ships were in......

I must admit, Petes blood pressure does fluctuate and can be a little on the low side at times. He has blood pressure pills and is doing ok.

You could be right. Blood pressure pills have lots of side effects. Some worse than others. Check the side effects on yours. Obviously doesn't mean you.will get any of them we are all different.

For what’s worth mine is always sky high when I have it taken at the GP practice, even if it’s done by the sweetest nurse. I have my own kit at home and do it over a few days, randomly. And it’s a lot lower.

She put me in a room on my own for five minutes with a machine taking my blood pressure stayed up ... I walked back from the garden was out of breath my heart was racing 146 beats per min... I thought at the time it was my lungs.. Usually it is 147/76

Always do mine at home and take into GP (I note time of day taken + if anything special going on) seems a much better guide to my health.

I do have a machine at home .. The next day after being on blood medication it was 148/106 .. I have a gut feeling some thing is going on with my heart.. I'm 61 didn't have a healthy lifestyle... Maybe I"m looking for a reason why it was up and not face the facts... But my heart rate does go up if my lungs are acting up...
