Ventolin switch

Thank you for all your views on switching from Ventolin to other CFC free inhalers. My doctor made me feel like a stupid old woman telling me it was mind over matter. I will stand my ground on this one now I know I am not imagining things and not alone. X

Doctors don't always know everything. It's demoralising to be told you're mistaken when you're not. Hope you can stand up to him in future. xx

Hi I just joined this community and I have suffered with asthma since being very little and I have been salbutamol and clenil modulite inhalers for so many years. Sorry your having problems with your asthma I didjt see your previous post so sorry if I am mistaken x

Some doctors make me so 😡😡😡 we can't all be wrong surely. Start listening doctors. Maybe pharmacists would be more sympathetic

Can you repost your previous post as the 2 other posts I can find from you do not correlate with this post as they do not mention ventolin. Tia. x

Oh found one post mentions prescribed ventolin and you giving up smoking, but that post doesn't corrolate with with what you say in this post. 🤷‍♀️ I'm intrigued by the previous post it does corrolate with, and where it has vanished of to. x x

Hi Tia, I am not sure how to dig out old posts but it was about my doctor made me feel like a stupid old woman with regard to using salamol rather than ventolin. He said it was a case of mind over matter! Salamol is slow to act plus you have to rinse out your mouth after using or you can get thrush which is a problem if out shopping etc. I have ended up getting ventolin online to tied me over but I am going to have to change doctors surgery. ( there are only 2 male docs at my surgery)
