Breathless ,mucus

Hi its Alice I have been away from this comuity for a good while been dealing with rheaumatiod arthritis , polymyligia reaumatica ,and sciatica lick pain ,feel as though I've been in the wars ,what it is though since been on continual prednisalone (down to 11mgs now) and hydroxychloroquine given for rheaumatiod arthritis my breathing seems worse ,also since being on these meds my mucus is yellow and plenty of it ,I dont feel ill as you normal would with chest infection so wondering if more breathless and yellow mucus means infection

Hello Alice, I hope you're bearing up? In general I would think coloured mucous does mean an infection. I think its back to the doctor to check this out. I hope someone else comes along with some more advice for you

i agree with Leo. It sounds as if you have an infection and need to get it checked out. Hope you soon feel better.

Yes I've realised today I do have chest infection

If yr unsure,get checked over + put specimen in x
