I keep banging on about my AeroBika, which cleared phlegm marvellously. Try looking for other posts on this site where there is quite a lot of discussion about clearance devices.

Don posted a link yesterday (?) to a video of the active cycle of breathing. I was just messing about and followed it, it worked! I have trouble clearing my chest so will be following this video regularly.

Screen shot of active breathing cycle. Don posted the link.

sorry to hear this whit, the change in the Carbocysteine won't kick in immediately - unless you've already been taking 3 times a day for three weeks?

I hope karenanne61's video helps you or try to get hold of Alberta's Aerobika. .......I've read here that blowing bubbles through a straw in a glass of water helps shift mucus, worth a try. Good luck

what has helped me is an effervescent drink called Nacsys a fizzy pleasant drink I take each morning. Coughing up the mucous each day is tiring but better than infections. Mine was prescribed but it might be available over the counter. Love Iris x
