I have my autumn booster this afternoon at 5pm and it's done then and out of the way.
I had the flu jab a few weeks back in Boots which I had no problems with.
This afternoon I am going swimming at 2pm so it's an easy morning this morning unlike yesterday when I had a job interview at 11.30am and they will let everyone know by the end of the week.
Good luck on your Job interview 🤞also on your Booster Jab. I never had a problem with first two which was AstraZeneca and 3rd was Pfizer. But 4th and 5th were Moderna which caused side effects. The last one being the worse.
Had the Flu Jab last Friday and no problems . Have a lovely day and enjoy your swimming. I never learnt to swim so have never been interested. Great excercise for you . Take carexxSheila 💕⚘
enjoy your day and lunch out. We are about to go out hubby got appointment with nurse. Problems with blood pressure. Then a bit of shopping then lunch in the park.
Hope all goes well with your Hubby's appointment. Enjoy your lunch in the Park. Is that a picnic or a restaurant?. If it is a picnic 🤞fingers crossed the weather is kind for you. Sun is shining here in Wales today . Have a lovely day xxSheila 💕⚘
Yes thanks Carole back home now had a lovely day My friend and I didnt stop talking , we phone each other every day but still managed to talk for 2hrs lol . Take care love to you and Pete xxSheila💕⚘
So glad to hear that you've got over that unpleasant reaction to the covid jab and that you are now making the most of life again. Keep on setting us all a good example. xxxx Chris
Thank you. Was feeling great then had that dreaded covid booster and ended up 10 days of being unwell.
So pleased that's the last for awhile. I will never have another Moderna that's for sure.It was great to be out and about again. I like to make the most of each day at my age lol.
Hope you had a lovely day also. Sending love xx Sheila 💕💕⚘
You’re looking good there, Garshe and stylish as always. Pleased to hear you’ve recovered from the side-effects of your jab, sounds like you’ve been through a rough time with it. Hope you enjoyed your day x
Yes it was great . Apparently there are quite a few I know had the same reaction ,dizziness ,headaches etc. Afected me as I have severe COPD so my oxygen dropped drastically whilst moving around. I am fortunate to have oxygen at home so ended up back on it . Annoying as had weaned myself off it, but really grateful I was able to use it as,saved a 999 call.
Back to my oldself now thank goodness so making up for lost time . Sending love xxSheila 💕💕⚘
Thank you so much. I love my clothes, 78yrs young and still in my 3ins heels lol.
I get dressed up even to go food shopping. My favourite designer is Joe Browns ,quirky and different. I'm wearing all Joe Browns today . Jacket, Dress and my fab antique Boots

Glad you’re back to your normal after your reaction to the booster. Looking great as always Sheila. Hubby and I went out yesterday into Manchester for a 3 course lunch @20 stories. Superb views ‘‘Twas a gift but we ended up paying nearly £40 as well ! I was ok after my Moderna booster. Only had Pfizer before. Keep enjoying life xx
Sounds like you had a great day and fab meal. Its a bonus to be able to go out especially after I was housebound for almost 2 weeks. We must be grateful for every single day and enjoy life .have a lovely day today also xxSheila 💕💕⚘⚘
So glad you're back to normal! I've been jabbed for flu and covid now, luckily no unpleasant side effects. It's lovely to have friends to talk to like that. I met my best friend on the first day of college when we were both drama students. A long time ago!
the friends we lunched with I met Chris when I Started work in 1959. Never had a cross word. Pete her husband was best man at our wedding and they are Godparents to my Daughters.we have so many memories as we have known each other over 60yrs. We never stop laughing at the things we got up to when were young. I have a saying. "You meet a lot of acquaintances along the way ,but only a few true friends . These should be treasured." xxSheila 💕💕⚘⚘
Yes it is. I see people on Social media I.e.Facebook with thousands of friends .these are not true friends but friends of friends or acquaintances you meet along the way. They dont know them and never comment. The true friends are the ones you have known for years.like school friends and people you have worked with. I also have lots of ex Pat friends who I met whilst living abroad .these are genuine friends.I did get friendly with a member on here and we kept in touch.we had a lot in common as she was an ex Pat at one time living in Torreveija where I have a villa. Sadly she passed last year and I really miss our chats .RIP Carolina aka Hacienda. A much loved and missed member of this forum 😥💕⚘xxSheila
That’s very true about friendships, I have one friend we have been friends for thirty odd years, another it’s got to be 50 yrs now, these I treasure very much, lots of acquaintances along the way, & some I call “ social “ friends, it really sounds like you’ve had an interesting life living abroad , nice to have interactions on here with people too, being able to get advice & just vent occasionally when frustration gets the better of you & know people understand exactly what you mean, take care 😊🌸🌺💐 xx
So glad you are feeling better! And shopping will just add to that feeling!! I get my Moderna 5 th jab in two weeks🤨 Each time I get a Covid vac I always make sure that the next two days I plan nothing as I always feel unwell. Hope you had a great shopping day!!👗👠👢
