Covid booster invites can come from a central source offering a booking at a main vaccine centre, or from your own GP surgery, in my case the main centre is 15 miles away and two hours via two buses, or I can get to my GP surgery 5mins away on my scooter. Choose the one which is most convenient for you. You can also find a local pharmacy that is doing them

I always have covid jabs as soon as I am offered them. Take spouse along too of course. Really don't want to get covid if totally unprotected.

I don’t think they’re doing cares, even if they live in your house, this year.

In my area in Gloucestershire the immunosupressed and older people are getting notifications & being booked for covid boosters at the usual flu venue 3 miles outside town in a village hall. However, I checked my GPs on NHS online and anyone can book one at various chemist's around town. My nearest is a mile.

It's worth checking because it's not advertised anywhere for those of us who aren't on the list. (I think the poster doesn't want one never having had one before). ×

I just booked an appointment on NHS app but was unsure if it was a booster or an actual vaccination, I rang the pharmacy and unfortunately had to cancel as booster are for over 75 & immunosupressed. Too young 😭! I'm going to do a walk-in and lie about my age

Well l hope they are Helen as Pete and l have an appointment booked this morning at a pharmacy not too far away. I’ll be really cross if they refuse to jab me. I was sent an invite. Xxx

Hi all, ask if yr getting the latest vaccine as I had my covid booster in Autumn then found out that the nhs were using up the last vaccine which wasn’t updated with the new variants & there are still vaccines left to be used up. MAKES no sense why yd give these to the people who need protecting the most but for a few weeks into the gov spin of ‘come get yr Autumn boosters’, they never the less did! Just be aware & ask.
