I've read about someone using an Olbas inhaler that inhales this through their mouth to ease their lack of breath. Just wondering if anyone has tried this & do you think it's safe to do so. Hope someone could give me an opinion on this please.

I've never heard Olbas inhaler but it comes in liquid form and is eucalyptus based. Usually added to hot water and inhale fumes to ease lungs of phlegm.Very old type of remedy actually
I dont quite see how inhaling it through the mouth would be different from inhaling the commonly used nasal one, it all goes to the airways,,,,,unless you're a mouth breather or cant get enough in through the nose.My massage therapist used to add eucalyptus oil & rosemary oil to the massage oil "for your lungs" she said . People used to put Olbas oil or menthol on their hankies to help a cold. P
ive used olbas oil when ive had a cold to help so you can breathe easily when youre blocked up i used to cover my entire PJs with it & put vicks on it so i could breathe at night
The bath oil is good , even just to put in sink with hot water to clear a blocked nose
Olbas oil can be very helpful in clearing the nostrils. Usually put a couple of dabs on a piece of tissue - lasts for ages. Fishermen's Friends are also great.
never heard of it as an inhaler.... comes as an oil to put onto a tissue etc as others have said.
I've seen olbas nasal stick for sale but never nasal spray.I have rhinitis & sprinkle olbas oil on my pillow every night. I also rub it above my eye brows & behind my ears to relieve the pressure. I use it for steaming too.
When I was a child I remember my mum using friars balsam for steaming.....the smell was disgusting!!
Never heard of it. Sorry x
