I bought a Hellebore , from the local charity shop ( a cutting someone had donated ) three or four years ago and it’s flowered for the first time this year 😃 worth waiting for but is that normal ?

Very pretty! My hellebore are all that mucky brown/purple colour, but still welcome! 😂 Near us is a wood that at this time of year is carpeted in wood anemone. I have never seen it so dense and far reaching, glorious xx

After the daffodils I love to see the daisies and celandines coming through in our communal areas. Being a country child we learned all the wildflowers and their seasons in primary school. Unfortunately I expect the grass cutters will be here before long. Dorothy
