So himself took off at the beach yesterday and decided to go into the water π§... he was enjoying it so let him have his 5 minutes of fun ... back at the car he was towel dried ... and had his warming coat popped on and big towel wrapped round him ... he spent all of last night cuddled up to me in bed being shivery ...
I was quite concerned for him and made a hot water bottle at 1.30 this morning to get rid of his shivers....I heard a thud from upstairs and I ran up to the room he had fell off the bed on to the floor and was just laying very still ... I scooped him up of the floor and wrapped him up the duvet ... on getting the hot water bottle I placed it in the bed close to him and watched him sleep π΄... he's been kept home today from walks .... he's much better now he's had rest .. me I'm absolutely exhausted and now away from home for 3 nights on a pet sit but hubby's looking after himself and I will see him daily so early night for me I think π€

I guess he was just seeking attention π he's 14 coming so I'm thinking a chill from the sea as you know he loves the water ... but even I have stopped going in now as its not so warm β€
No it was just him being in the water it's given him a little chill he's fine now... it won't hold him back he is never out of ponds bogs puddles the sea β€
Oh. I am so glad that Stan has recovered well enough to enjoy your pet sitting friends. That water level will do less damage than the sea but I am sure that he enjoyed it. Happy New Year to all of you. Grace
