So himself took an adventure in to the bog after some ducks and got stuck in the mud ...
I had to climb in and drag him out...
His little face full of innocence after was a picture up to his little legs in mud and what is generally a white chin is muck covered ..
Straight home straight in the shower now laying on his bed in a bad mood with me cause he's been washed and shampooed and smells of coconut π₯₯... he hates the hair dryer ...didn't stop me using it little dirt devil π

It's not fun chasing him it's still very boggy and I could feel my feet sinking further he's a nightmare some days like a pup on steroids ...then the face in the shower πΏ he's been sitting with his back to me for over an hour ππππ
What a life that scoundrel has thanks to you BB. I am picturing you trying to yank him ou of the mud to having a wash and blow dry to finish. A wonderful life.Xx
Full of spirit. Iβve had one of those in the form of n the main a rough haired Jack R. His fav thing was rolling in fox pee. Stanley might give you the run around but oh that lovely innocent love me face. Cx
I'm used to bog hopping to drag dogs out from where they get stuck stick to the high bits and take your time ... OK I was covered in much muck but that's okay ππ
Ahh I was fine I carry extra clothes in my van for such occasions being a dog walker it's a necessary need .. I have a washer in the van for the dogs which holds the water warm ππ
My dog, who seems to have an identical spirit to yours, thinks nothing of standing in an icy muddy pond. Put him in a warm shower to clean him off and he gets decidedly grumpy.
A good thing he had you to drag him out. Very ungrateful of him to sulk. I hope you had time to shower too. and then all those clothes to wash. Tell Stanley his fan club expects better things of him. Glad you're both all right after all that. xxx
Ah we are both fine I don't mind him doing what he has to he's a bit naughty but charming at the same time ... he's on my bed at the moment snoring away after his breakfast ππ
I love the smell of it got it on Amazon ...I know that face gets us every time heartbreakers ππ the shampoo is called WAHL oatmeal shampoo its Β£7.99 and you only need a tiny hand spot on them for washing I bought the bottle over a year ago and it's still half full .. but Stan is groomed and clipped every 5 weeks so I don't shower him much to be fair only when he's being a bog monster ...π
He's sitting waiting patiently to go on a walk ... God knows why I booked a group in for today must be mad ... but its for keyworkers so I don't mind at all really the suns shining ... hope you have a lovley day π
Your a glutton for punishment but I think you enjoy the dogs and it must be good company for Stan. The weather is so cold here today and a bit wet, so glad I did the garden yesterday. Roll on 11th and I can have some proper sun, although reading about the delays at the airports I zpam not looking forward to that x
I love tenerife Los Cristianos is my end to stay ... have a wonderful time .. Malta as well is another place for me used to dive there not anymore just snorkeling for me now ... π₯°
I tried a dive once in Corfu but slipped on a rock on the way in and cut my ankle. I was convinced jaws was after me the whole time lol. Los Cristianos is lovely, I enjoy the seafront walk from there through to Santiago in Los Americas. Have never been to Malta but may try it out at some point x
That is a lovely story it made me laugh and laugh heartily. You have really cheered me up as I was feeling a wee bit miserable today. I can just imagine you going into the mud bath to rescue your dog and what a gorgeous dog he/she is. She has such a beautiful face. Thankyou so much for sharing your story, you have made my day.
He is so darn cute!! He looks absolutely innocent. Stan certainly loves adventure!! All you can do is just love him!!! And he certainly has a wonderful mom!! xxπΎπΎπΎ
ππΎlittle rascal. I admit an image came of you rescuing Stan from the mud that had me smiling. Bless him. Hope all are fully recovered now and youβre back in Stanleyβs void books xx
It must have looked like something from a carry on film ... he was trying to keep going but his legs were sinking and the more he struggled the more I laughed cause I knew he was trying to run from me just for the hell of it π
That's pretty much how it was ... I wear shorts with wellies and believe me my legs were splattered everywhere.. then Stans face and his little tiny legs love him π
