No, none whatsoever, just a sore arm for a few days

No nothing, had a headache and a sore arm for a couple of days but it was no different to the seasonal flu jab.

Hi there, my Dad has Pulmonary Fibrosis and was pretty stable up until he had his Covid vaccines, he was able to do most things pretty normally. We were so pleased when he had his vaccine, but since then he has really gone down hill and can barely walk from one side of the room to the other and now has oxygen . It has all happened so quickly - we don’t know if it is just coincidence or not? We have asked his consultant and respiratory nurse if they have come across this with anyone else, and they have not. He now has his booster booked and is really worried and unsure if he should have it or not.

Exactly the same happened to me. Please see my reply to Tedblu.

Hi. My reply seems to have gone elsewhere. Yes is the short answer. Drastically so. I was diagnosedwithIF 6 years ago. IT had no impact on my life for all that time and never deteriorated. 14 days after vaccine my life completely changed. I can just about walk around the house and now need a stairlift to get upstairs. I have just been hospitalisedwith a chest infection and am on pifenidone. No one will give any credence to my belief that it was triggered by the vaccine.

I’m so sorry you have also experienced the same thing as my Dad. Your story could be his story. He has also recently just had a stair lift installed. I am by no means an anti-Vaxxer, we as a family were all so pleased to have the vaccine. It would just be nice if there was more information available, so my Dad could make an informed decision about having the booster. I assume that you will also have the same decision to make.

I was so pleased to have the vaccine after shielding for a year so I was shocked when this all happened and although I am told it is a coincidence, the change was so drastic after being completely well that I'mnot convinced . I have made my decision. I cannot risk the possibility of any further damage. I am so sorry about your father. I hope he is as well as he can be.
