As I’m classed as extremely vulnerable I’m pleased that I’m getting my covid jab next Thursday. Not going out into public places unless absolutely necessary is very boring. Hope you all get your jabs soon. and none of us get bad side effects. Best regards, Jean x

Covid Jab Next Week
That’s good to hear Jean. Pete’s not had the call just yet but hopefully not too long to wait. Xxx💕
you can book in the NHS app. I’ve tried but the nearest places to me don’t have car parking and I can’t walk very far at the moment.
Thank you Helen. Pete wants to wait as we tested positive for Covid on the 19th March. Xxx
Hope you’re both fully recovered now. Have you got your smell/taste back?
The nhs website says you should delay having the vaccine until 4 weeks after a positive test, so you could get yours next week. I’m booked in for 4 May 😊
That's good. I hope we will hear soon.
Sensible - I am not allowed my COVID jab as I am having BCG treatment and if I had COVID vaccine as well, my immune system would go into overdrive. I had COVID last year, a miserable time for just over two weeks.
Fingers crossed for you,I am also in the vulnerable group but don't want moderna vaccine again as 2 months recovery last time from side effects .
I’m having mine on Tuesday! I booked it online at our nearest health hub and ticked the CEV box.
Got a txt months ago telling me I am immune suppressed. Not been called yet for spring booster asked surgery they would tell me when they are being done. I am not hiding away I am living my life and going on holiday very soon I do not see any point in living if I cannot do the things I like.
Good luck with your jab Jean hope you dont have any side effects x
That’s good 👍 x
Good to hear the jabs are commencing, you are the first I have heard whose having one in next week. Best wishes for no side effects
We were contacted to get the booster about 3 weeks ago. Havent got round to it yet though.
I'll prob delay having ths one,as I did last year.i don't want to have more in relatively short space of time
HI... I have Bronchiectasis, Asthma, rhinitis amongst other things and before Covid was having to be treated 2 or 3 times a year for chest infections, BUT I took precautions every time I went out, I wore a mask, was very aware of touching things on the bus, door handles, anything that might be touched a lot ... and was very lucky I never caught it once (touching wood ) that's a whole 2 years and more ... I didn't go out a lot ... didn't encourage visitors etc... and hubby didn't get it either ... but funnily enough as soon as covid started disappearing, my infections started to come back with a vengeance ... and I notice others mentioned that too ...
