Hot flushes
This could be a health issue unrelated to your lungs, always best to check with your doctor.
I am 69 and still have them. I went on hrt but had to come off it when I had breast lumps, then the breast cancer scare came along . I did try hrt again but ended up with huge bruises and was worried about having a stroke. Are you still on hrt? Ask your gp to be referred as some hospitals have clinics to deal with this. Its miserable trying to live with this. Let us know how you get on, good luck x
Me too so I can sympathise. I had my ovaries removed when I was 33 and went straight into the change. I couldn’t have HRT until six weeks after. I then took them for twenty odd years coming off of them in 2006 because of really bad migraines which the Dr thought was caused by the hormones. . Since then I have had awful hot flushes which there is no treatment for. That is fifteen years I have had them. Im 77 now. It’s not nice is it?
Thank you for your replies. i will see my GP about it as i am getting a l lot of headaches as well.
Hi i went on her hrt at 43 10 years later dr said i had to come off of them,I am now 67 and still getting hot flushes it’s a nightmare
I still get the occasional one and I'm 71! My Gran was still regularly having them at 76! It is a pain and apparently neither of us had a bad menopausal experience so am grateful for small mercies. My outstanding benefit from the change was that I stopped having migraines and only have a headache once in a blue moon now😁😁
Hi, I still get them, I've always thought its more to do with the meds I am on. Bought a nice little battery fan I have by the bed, does seem to help sometimes.Best get it checked though, hope you get it sorted.

I stayed on low-dose HRT for over 20 years after total hysterectomy. I came off the HRT nearly three years ago, when I was 70, and started getting hot flushes and night sweats which I thought would stop after a short while, but no sign of them easing off yet.
I am 70 have been having the hot flushes for about a year. Going to make a GP appointment.
