Lung function

Hi All,I went for my lung function tests and spirometry for the 1st time in 2yrs yesterday and it was a safe environment at my local hospital and my lungs have not changed output since 2014 so I am happy 😊 that they have not deteriorated in 6yrs.

Wow B0xermad that's really good news, do you have COPD?. And if so do you exercise regularly. Just asking as I'm nearly 8 months quit smoking and diagnosed copd trying to exercise daily wanting to gain more lung capacity and hoping the breathlessness gets easier. It's great news that your lungs are functioning the same as 6 yrs ago.

Hi Jake25 I have copd, asthma and bronchiectasis, I go to a blf breathe easy gym and tai chi weekly also walk my dog 🐕 ,I have been to pulmonary rehab before and never smoked.

It's amazing that I am still at the same level, unfortunately I don't 🍷because it interfers with my meds🙃
