Hey all, I'm new around here and was wondering if anyone has experienced the same as myself. I have a sharp pain across both lungs, around the bottom/diaphragm area when I cough. This has moved from a chesty/mucus cough to a very dry/tickly cough, which makes me want to cry when it happens!
I've taken a few Covid home tests and all have returned negative. I had what felt like the flu/cold over the weekend and this has gone away now. From what I am reading, I think it may be looking like Pleurisy.
Has anyone else experienced the same?
(EDIT) - Apologies, I forgot to mention that I don't have any pain when breathing normally, just when coughing.

Welcome to the forum thebear74, sorry to hear of your problems. I have to advise you though to contact your GP or 111 as nobody on here is medically trained. It could well be pleurisy but you need to be checked over.
Please let us know how things go. Best wishes to you. Xx
Could just be you are getting over a cold and the pain across your diaphragm could be the result of strained muscle from coughing. Discussion with your GP is probably your best bet.If your symptoms persist do make contact with your doctor.
