I haven’t been here for a while, not sure if you remember but I’ve been battling bilateral pleural/pericardial effusion’s which after a year had almost cleared with the help of prednisone until last Thursday when the familiar pain came back on right side in chest and shoulder, my GP couldn’t hear anything but just to be safe sent me for X-ray and there it was worsening right pleural effusion, pain is now starting on left side now so that’s obviously filling too. Looks like I’m back to MDT at freeman hospital Newcastle for next steps. Fed up isn’t the word but there’s other people a lot worse than me, I’m still here fighting and will continue, I need a diagnosis but it’s not looking good now.
Take care
Wendy xx
