I had my booster last Thursday which was 6 months and 10 days from the previous vaccination. I had no adverse reaction until approximately 28 hours following . On Friday night I had stabbing pain in my left middle posterior lung lobe. I had experienced this in my right lung following the second vaccination 6 months earlier. At that time, I was admitted for 6 days with pneumonia.
Has anyone else experienced adverse reactions to the Pfizer booster?
I have statrted my emergency pack of amoxicillan and the pain has eased significantly. Not sure if I should go to A&E but intend to wait till my surgery opens tomorrow and speak to my GP.

Hope you feel better soon JJ_7, and please see your GP tomorrow. I am due to have both of mine after the 6th Nov. Have a good day and take care 😊 Bernadette and Jack 🐕 xxxxxx
Hope your feeling better soon. I have not had the booster but the other night in the shower, i lent forward and it felt like someone stuck a knife in me by my shoulder and it worked around to the front and when i took a breath i had pain but it's easded a bit now and hardly hurts. Not sure what it was but yours sounded a bit like what i had.
Thank you everyone for your kind wishes and helpful advice. I will call GP tomorrow if the pain does not go. I am too tired to reply to each of you individually but you know that I appreciate your input and support. Love you all xxx
Hope you get better soon. When you speak to your gp make sure you ask them to log your reaction on the yellow card website as it’s so important so we can understand more about the vaccine and it’s reactions. I know a few people that have had reactions but weren’t even aware of yellow card.
Hopefully you are feeling a little better today, if not I hope you have contacted your gp. I wonder if you have an infection just started when getting your jab. Whatever it is I hope you get it sorted soon x
Thanks Izb1. I am feeling a very little bit better. My doctor advised that I complete my emergency pack to see if the pain clears. If not , then I may need to be investigated further. I will continue taking my observation levels(Blood pressure, oygen etc) and note any changes.
I hope you feel better soon! The side effects I’ve heard can be scary!! Keep us posted on how you are doing. I am going to get my booster shot soon, and I hope nothing out of the ordinary happens!
