Don’t laugh this is for real

A male on here wants to know why his nipples are so sore. He can’t barely touch them to shower. He walked around a corner and scraped his nipple on the wall. Bumped it and the pain was so severe it nearly dropped him. He is stage 4 emphysema. Very low fev1 with hyper inflated lungs. Anyone else ever go through this. Looking for males who’ve experienced this only please! Any input will be appreciated male or female if they have experienced a guy with these symptoms.

I’m seriously inclined to think it may be due to some of the medications he is taking????

It could be anything Maricopa. I wouldn’t know what to say really other than to contact a doctor and explain. Sorry I’m of no help. Xxxx

Men get breast cancer too, just saying. He needs to see a doctor

Never had nipple pain that bad, but pretty much all the things that effect you ladies apply to us chaps, too: chafing, cracking and dryness, eczema of the nipple, contact dermatitis (having had that on my wrist under my watch, I can well believe it would be pretty horrendous on the old nips), then there’s soft tissue infections like mastitis, cysts behind the nipple, that kind of thing. I’m prone to cysts generally, and when they’re infected they’re sore as all hell, plus if it was deep or your friend is a bit on the tubby side, you wouldn’t necessarily notice a lump without having a really good feel for it, which you’re not going to do if hurts like that. There’s also a surprising number of nerves around the nipple regardless of gender, so you can very occasionally get pain related to nerve problems. As peege says, men can also get breast cancer, but nipple symptoms for blokes tend to be thickened tissue and inverted nips rather than pain - either way, if it hasn’t settled in a day or two, I’d say it’s a definite GP job, particularly if it’s that sore!!

Is there anything you don't know, Charlie? Am always in awe at the depth of your knowledge on so many things.

Many, many things, but medical stuff just seems to stick in a way very little else does, and I do quite often fall down rabbit holes: I start off reading about one specific thing I need to know about in relation to one of mine or the bod’s many medical conditions, and the next thing you know it’s 2 hours later and I’m somehow reading up about nipples and nerve endings entirely out of curiosity. I sometimes joke that you might just manage to get one *almost* fully functioning body out of the two of us, but it would be a tall order. Only bits both of us have got still in full working order are our kidneys, so I read a lot, and end up wherever I end up 🤷‍♂️

Only thing is, despite all this knowledge, I still always seem to be the most avoided person at a party 🤔😂

In the unlikely event that we ever meet at a party, I certainly would not avoid you.

I feel bad but he’s quite humorous regarding it to. He used some choice curse words describing his last incident! He said I just “raked” that blankety blank...nipple again!🤣🤣🤣

I’ve already recommended a “bro”

He said I’m about to try anything and I’ll fit right in today’s society anyway!🤔

Husband had a sore nipple (just the one - the other was fine). He saw the GP and got breast cancer ruled out. I suggest your friend should also see a GP as there can be so many reasons this can happen. Perhaps his meds need tweaking a bit (only the meds - not the nips!!). As a lady who also suffered similarly in my younger years (every b****y month, to be exact) all I can say is 'Thanks for the Memories' (NOT!) and OUCH! xx Moy

Perhaps applying a good layer of Vaseline for now until he gets it checked out. Could be eczema related to asthma, medication side effects, hormone imbalance. Best get it checked out though as it sounds painful.
