Hi Wang... and welcome.

Yes... in a way: I get gastro issues with tiotropium (Spiriva) and was tried on SeeBri Breezhaler which caused the same - uncomfortable bloating, wind and nausea.

It's the glycopyrronium in SeeBri that causes the issue which is also an active ingredient in Trimbow.

I don't get the problem with formoterol (2nd ingredient in Trimbow) nor Beclomethasone dipropionate (corticosteroid & 3rd ingredient) so I take them separately which works for me and escapes me from the 12 months+ of hell that our GPs can't seem to recognise the cause of.

However I still have mild sinusitis which they may be the cause but it's mostly tolerable for me, now.

Hi fostair and ventolin . Still on ventolin stopped taking the trimbow 2days ago . Early days yet but seems better.

Why were you changed from Fostair? Have you got some to be going on with?

Consultant said Trimbow would be better for me . Changing my lifestyle plain food no alcohol plenty of water breathing exercises 3 times a day. Reluctant to go to hospital full of COVID here . Let you know how I get on

Well the rest of the advice is probably good - but I'd stay with the fostair and dump the trimbow. The decision for them is likely cost driven rather than your health/comfort.

If you tell yr GP/consultant you're having intolerable side effects with Trimbow they'll issue a script for fostair again... Or maybe try something else. You may need to 'not take no'...

2021 best wishes
