He's doing absolutely fine comes with us on our group dog walks we have one in the morning and one in the afternoon..He does enjoy when its just us though or maybe it's just us enjoying him ..hes managed to wrap us round his little paw π€π
When he'd finished chasing the squirrel he wouldn't have realised he had left you behind. No wonder he was shaking, he probably panicked and was frightened he had lost his new mum. Bless him, I can picture him contentedly wrapped up in his blanket after his walk.
Hes still in his blanket next to me ..love him π
Hes a silly boy not coming back sooner then he wouldn't have got in a state like he did.. hopefully learned from it not to go so far next time he feels brave ππ
It's not great is it lol ... first one I have lost and it had to be my own kn#b that went off after something...he took it a little too far for my liking as was very sheepish after π π
I love that photo of Stan the Man, those floppy ears are divine Iβd want to stroke them all day. It really cheers me up seeing your photos
I can see him now in his blanky all warm contented and safe after his scare, silly boy letβs hope heβs learnt and wonβt go chasing squirrels blocking everything else out.
More ear scratches, chin chucks and tummy rubs for the lost Stan the Man who found his way back to his wonderful new family. Love his floppy ears. My lurcher dog Laddie's ears used to flop like that as a pup, until he learned to control them.
Sadly, he went over the rainbow bridge at the age of 17 in 1999. Much loved and greatly missed, but we had a great time together, even if he did get himself into lots of pickles.
I was actually okay .... NOT lol my heart melted when I saw him but hopefully hes learned his lesson and not to be naughty chasing squirrels again....he stayed right by us this morning so obviously getting lost has taught him π
He most definitely does wear a tag with our mobile number on and our business name ... he has many collars with the same information..its actually illegal not to ..his chips changed to our name and as self employed dog walkers we do the same for all our customers regarding tags π
I share lost and stolen dogs regularly and so many have no collar or identification tag as you say required by law like microchipping. One day one of our new rescues disappeared, fortunately she had her collar and tag on with our number we were panicking as was our dog. I don't understand why anyone thinks its acceptable to buy an animal and treat them badly. Stanley is clearly loving his new life.
Aww.. ..poor little thing, I bet he was scared. My heart goes out to himβ€But after mackerel and carrots and his blanket he felt really safe and good againπ€π€π€β€π
Oh dear! Suzy and I are glad he's back, safe and sound. We love his ears which makes us think that he and Suzy would be so compatible. Here's a photo of her waiting for his telephone call!
