Hello everyone, I wanted to thank you all for your kindness and support whenever I have a problem.
Well here I am the day after, it was ok, didn’t hurt, went on a bit but that was the root canal and he said he’d put post in as tooth was so bad. Will have to go back for the crown but have a temporary one at the moment. Going back 4th December. Not looking forward to it but anyway, I think that’s a lot to do with the dentist or maybe me ?
I do think the brain is amazing. I looked up to see how long would blood clot would stay cos I didn’t want to dislodge it (blood phobia) and it started going on about dry sockets. Ha I’ve never heard of them, never been told about them, never knew they existed, well I do now and am just waiting to get one.
Thank you again for all your replies to me, I know I do go on, crikey even I get fed up with my going on and on and on. Love to you all and stay well xx

Congratulations getting over the hurdle. 😀 Isn’t it strange how often the things we fear most turn out to be nothing like as bad as we thought.
I agree Don! Sometimes we spend so much time being anxious about something that is never as bad as we were thinking & we’ve wasted all that energy being anxious! Or worse, anxious about something that never happens!
Glad you got through it- strange how having treatment at the dentist puts the fear of God into us. My husband's had a tooth problem since the beginning of lockdown and has had a filling and 2 lots of anti biotics but nothing solved so it's either a crown or extraction - why didn't they insist on this at the beginning - it's becoming costly . Hope your problem is fully resolved soon. x Anita
Glad it wasn’t so bad mickyjoan and I’m sure the new crown will be fine too. I’ve got the hygienist on Thursday, not my favourite thing but never mind.
Glad it went not too badly. Good luck with the crown, which shouldn't be as bad as the root drilling. Don't worry about going on. We all need to get it off our chests sometimes.
I had a dry socket post extraction and the pain was the worst I've ever experienced! No pain killer will touch it and I had to go to the dentist several times over a couple of weeks for the special pain relief treatment they can do.
