I ave been sooo careful in lockdown kept to all the rules one trip every 2 weeks to Waitrose at 7am mask glasses and smothered in bacteria gel Walks in the country (local) but yesterday my son sent all his stuff from London home to Chester in a Luton van 8am bang on the door it’s them. Soon dressed and got stuck in 2 lovely Asian lads it took us about 40 mins iam in the back of the van with them make sure we got everything. It was only after they left I remembered coronavirus So now I am counting the days 10 days and I can relax but I must admit it did make me laugh how we can soon forget about coronavirus and soon we all will. Take care and stick to the rules xxxx

OMG yes my step daughter and granddaughter came last week out on the park we all forgot for a little while😷Re the 2 mtr. rule. My mother in law phoned today to ask me to come over to help her flea her cat ( she said “ as you can come in my house now ”) !

This bubble thing has got many older people confused.

Yes my granddaughter is confused because she can now go inside her other grandmas house ( their bubble) so she kept getting too close to me. I tried to explain esp Re the shielding but at 5 it’s difficult . So will have to talk to step daughter before she comes again as it made me very nervous.

My neighbours have had on 3 consecutive days 3 lots of grandchild and parents in the house and garden, no social distancing. Makes me speechless

You're not alone in reverting to old habits at times like this. I've just had a massive flood down 3 floors from roof. So much water I'd have put wellies on if I'd had time. The roofers came back along with the painter who'd employed them to inspect the damage. Completely forgot I'm safe distancing. Now I wait too.

It helps if you've got a working thermometer to keep an eye on that - bearing in mind not everyone gets a high fever with covid, my daughter didn't but was quite poorly for 3 weeks.
