Update on bronchiectasis tests

How do they test for bronchiectasis?
Bronchitis is just an infection that will clear up over time with abs and pain killers. Bronchiectasis is a life condition I think but is manageable with specialist breathing techniques and keeping yourself healthy.
I thought I had the latter but had high resolution CT scan and I don't. So it's th best way to tell.
Sorry I'm not too sure as I don't have it but I know that's what you do, there are lots of videos on you tube about it. I do know that one is putting your hands on your ribs and taking deep breath in then letting it out slowly, and huffing a bit like what you'd do if you were cleaning a window! A respiratory specialist would go through it with you if it were Bronchiectasis as with that you also use a device to breath though, I think it's called an Acapela.
