Hi all you lovely people. If you thought, like me, that you aren’t able to volunteer on the NHS call to arms you can. You can chose to volunteer to provide telephone chat for lonely people. You don’t have to be available all the time you say when you are available. Thought this may help if you are feeling isolated or bored yourselves. Stay safe. X

I got the email to apply for temporary re-registration as a Dietitian with the HCPC yesterday., to help with the Covid-19 crisis. Haven't binned it, but am extremely unlikely to apply because of my medical conditions. All recently retired members of professions allied to medicine are receiving the invitation, in preparation for things getting a lot worse.

You shouldn’t put yourself at risk. I guess they don’t know you are high risk. Perhaps you could help via telephone? Think we are doing our bit by keeping safe.
