Hi and welcome. I have stage 4 emphysema. For me surgery was not an option but I hope all goes well for you and that it fits in with your daughter's wedding.
Welcome Falcon22! Glad you are able to have surgery. I have not had surgery like that so cannot advise. I hope it goes really well and you can walk your daughter down the aisle. Best wishes.
Hi Hun, Welcome, I know there are quite a few on here who have had LVRS, I wanted it .but was refused. Type LVRS &Click on your Search, Top right hand of page, it will come up. Everyone's Recovery is Different, I hope your's is quick & you can get to give your daughter Away on Her Special day. Best of Luck Falcon, xxxxx C.
Hi Falcon and welcome to the site. I too am waiting for the same op but it all takes time, but I've no doubt you will walk your daughter down the aisle. Please let us know how you get on, good luck with the op, and do your daughter proud by walking her down that aisle no matter what. Have a good day and take care of yourself 😊 Bernadette xx
Hello and welcome,I too am waiting for LRVS at the Royal Brompton.I only just met the criteria as lungs in poor shape.I have been waiting a couple of months now but we have had xmas in the middle so new year new outlook for us both xx
Thank you Comino ..I think I only just scrapped criteria too. ..I think I have my consultant to thank. I have been waiting 3 months so far ..so fingers crossed for us both won't be too long xx
Hi, it's good you can get a lung reduction, see also the mail last weekend. Saw an article that relates to a steam treatment, ask your chest physician about it.
Hope the wedding goes OK but don't overdo it with the after hours reception.
