I am new here on this blog..... I have been a member of COPD Foundation in America for a number of years ...... myself and my wife both have EMPHESYMA .... the condition cannot be cured...., medications help relieve symptoms and slow down further progression..... Depending on the severity it might involve medications, therapy or surgery ...... We are keen to learn all we can from trusted websites as there is far too much misinformation spread around on the internet by badly informed professionals and business rogues interested in wealth before health........ In my humble opinion there is only one medication suitable for severely damaged lungs ...... that is medical grade oxygen from Liquid Oxygen [LOX] which is 100% pure and safe to inhale .in minimal amounts. .... Blood Oxygen levels must be kept above the level that causes panic attacks and hypoxia at all times to prevent brain cell loss and dementia ... unfortunately LOX is expensive and difficult to get prescribed by GPs ...... I am fortunate my wife has been on Liquid Oxygen for 5 years now...... hope you all have a good JULY4th....... stay sober and stay safe ....... stayingalive ;-)

Have a good 4th of July today, it is also my sisters birthday, so we are celebrating anyway. It is certainly best to look on the bright side, as they say,

And enjoy being part of this group of which I am a fairly new member but am finding it useful.
