Not posted for a few days as been back up the UniversityHospital Manchester to the Aspergillosis clinic and today my niece and her Mum treated me to a spa day for my "hen do". Absolutely fantastic! Had a swim in their lovely pool - just the three of us there, then the hot tub and then a body scrub and facial. Feel really relaxed now. Managed 4 lengths of the pool - not a swimmer but no chlorine in the air so could stay in there.
Will hopefully get back to normal now and start answering posts and catching up on my notifications tomorrow.
Hope you are all having a great weekend despite the weather .
Love and hugs

Hi Sian, It is lovely that you had such a nice day at the Spa. Four lengths of the pool is very inpressive in my book! Big hug.xx
It was really se four lengths are impressive in my book too. As I said I am not a swimmer just love mucking around in the water. Shame we had such awful weather as the views from the spa out across the sea to Caldey Island must be wonderful on a leaf day. We couldn't even see where the sky ended and the sea began all we could see was rain. It eventually cleared so that we could see the caravan park down by the sea! Never mind. It was a lovely day and if it had been a nice day we would all have been thinking that we could be at home putting washing out or doing work in the garden.
Hi thanks. Had six lots of blood taken. 1st part of pneumonia vaccine and a list of things to give to Doc so that they don't just say things like "ah well what do you expect you have Aspergillosis - which is what they did with Bronchiectasis. Have an order to keep an emergency pack of antibiotics ands for the GP to Itraconazole. Having said that came back with 3 months supply. Next time I go they have ordered a scan to see what is happening with the aspergillus nodule.
Hi Sian sorry for the late reply, had a bit of a busy weekend. I'm not so bad thanks, aspergillomas stable at moment, just having trouble with pseudomonas, waiting for sputum results from 2 weeks ago seemingly they haven't found their way back to my consultant !!! but feeling ok at moment. Was nice to have a bit of sunshine today jan x
You know they say they send the results back within 2 days here but quite often they are held up when they get back to the hospital or surgery. I just do not know what happens to them. Glad things are pretty much OK for you and hope they sort out the pseudomonas for you soon.
Love and hugs
