Because I have not one doctor say with any certainty that my nodules are cancerous, except that I once had lung cancer, I have opted to wait and have one more CT Scan at the end of October. .....and may the Powers be on my side. Have an easy weekend all my lovely peeps๐๐๐ค๐๐Bev, the other one or Spicy fruit (I love that!!)๐๐

Perhaps the best way to go, after all radiation itself can actually cause cancer. Which is why I opted to forego my last quarterly CT Scan and go straight into 6 monthly checks, which is due two weeks today and will only be having an X-Ray, which is a lower radiation exposure than a CT Scan.
Just a reminder to people that 2 CT Scans in a year gives the same maximum radiation count that an EU nuclear worker is allowed to receive.
Well i guess i will have to wait another year now before i apply for that part time job at my local Nuclear plant in Spain suppose i will kill the time cleaning the river ebro of the heavy metal deposits lol :).
Good morning HungryHufflepuff...๐I think its a good decision....one spends weeks scratching one's head..and then ......I wish you a lovely weekend with hugs, Spicy Bev ๐๐๐ท
That was also my problem, all these endless CTs and nowhere near the terrible news I kept waiting for. I am glad now about my decision. I am hoping for the best. I hope you're well and enjoying the weather, wherever you are. Great weekend๐๐๐ท
Good morning๐ทThank you so much. I certainly will keep everyone updated. I hope you have a great weekend with a little breeze thrown in, very humid here. Hug Spicy-Bev ๐โคโ
Hi there I too had a nodule after my op ( LVRS) in Oct 2018 , they found it in Jan 2019 .They monitored it for 3 months then another CT scan showed it had grown and it was probably cancerous but they felt it was slow growing , so left me for another 3 months to see if had grown more .I went back in July another scan and miracles do happen , it has disappeared .They showed me the scan from 3 months ago ,then this latest one .I couldn't believe it no trace at all so please don't think the worse especially as you have had cancer. I'm wishing you good luck and keep us informed .
You give me hope๐ท๐ทThat's what I'm hoping for shrinkage or 'oh it's gone!!' I am always full of hope and meditate and try to bring everything together to be 'great' and functioning well. Whatever keeps me safe I am gunning for๐๐๐คI hope you're well whilst reading this Babs and I send you mych love and huge bear hugs. Love xx Bev, Spicy fruit๐๐โค
