After a goodish start to year???

Despite COPD, Heart problems and OA - I have managed overseas holidays for years.

The last was in Greece two years ago and did not feel well enough last year.

This year i thought might be different - How wrong I was. After just one flare up of COPD I thought good, how wrong I was.

Every blood test has gone pear shaped, CKD now deep in stage three. Needed large doses of Foliates and VIT D twice.

Thyroid function all all over the place,, TSH Normal while T4 high - Bad enough but T3 low is low meaning I have to stay on Levothyroxine despite feeling unwell and anxious cause by high T4.

So COPD annual review. She could not give me spiro test because it effects eye injections which I have, was not sorry over that.

However when asked how I was I said not a lot of Wheeze but I have infrequent attacks where my breathing goes then recovers in stages. Gasping, can't speak proper then OK.. I put than down to GERD possible.

She said she would ask doctor could I have XRAY but doubted that due to radiation - he did allow it and on follow up with nurse he walked in and after polite small talk said see him before I go.

After nurse was finished he was waiting by his door and said don;t worry but he wants a repeat XRAY in 3 weeks.

I read Green Form and it mentioned "Left Apex" I was feeling low enough but seeing that and looking at how ill I have been, I wonder what he is looking for.

I will end with LOW T3 I mentioned before is normally found when someone is admitted to hospital with an illness,.

I was feeling low before now I just can't get my head round this.. has this happened to anyone else (The XRAY PART} Thanks and sorry for long post.

Hi there Ern007 and just wondering if you could phone your Consultant 's Secretary and ask for some clarification on the matters you are very concerned about? I wouldn't waste anymore time,wondering what it could/couldn't be..... Make that phone call.
